The livery customization will have to wait until 2023, unfortunately.ĭakar Desert Rally will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S upon launch and is set to feature over 150 official vehicles, four-player online multiplayer and dynamic weather. That will be the next piece that the team works on, with Free Roam also slated to come out before the end of the year.

This feature will come to PC first while it is refined before rolling out to other platforms. The Road Book editor is where you can create your own event route to be shared online to be driven by others. The Extended Map, which will add 36 stages to the 130 that will be included with the base of the game, will be the first piece of content released in a few days, per the development team on their discord. This season introduces two brand new vehicles and a map set in Tennessee, USA, bringing a whole new playground packed with activities. Race in exciting trials with Season 7: Compete & Conquer. Most of the free updates coming either this year or next were expected to be included at launch, but sadly it looks like they likely needed to be developed more and were pushed back. Requires the base game SnowRunner to run.
#Snowrunner map simulator
SnowRunner, of course, is the name of the terrain simulator that is made by the same publishers at Saber Interactive.Ģ023 will see Classics Vehicle Pack #2, a Hybrid Vehicle Pack, and the USA Tour, likely the new map that was spoken of when the Season Pass was announced.
The SnowRunner Pack is up first with the Classics Vehicle Pack #1 joining it in releasing in 2022.
The roadmap also laid out the Season Pass DLC that will be dropping either before the end of 2022 or at some point in 2023.

Other free updates listed include an October update for the Saudi Arabia Extended Map, as well as two 2023 items which will include a Team Customization Tool for custom liveries, as well as Replay and Photo Mode. The roadmap plans them both to be out in 2022, but as a free future update. The planned roadmap for the upcoming title Dakar Desert Rally was shared around official Dakar Desert Rally social media groups on Monday (2nd October 2022) and things that might have been expected at launch are now to be expected to join the title in future free updates.ĭakar Desert Rally, which will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, will no longer have the Road Book editor or Free Roam driving when the game goes live on 4th October 2022.
